Hi, I'm Ade. Thanks for visiting my little spot on the Internet.
I am a documentary wedding photographer working extensively throughout the UK. I am a qualified licenciate of the Royal Photographic Society (something I am particularly proud of) and my love of photography goes back as far as I can remember, well, almost.
It's all my brother Chris's fault! He's a very keen and very good photographer and, when I was in my early teens, I used to stand and watch him making photos. I quite often got in the way, which I know would drive me to distraction now. Something interesting like photography, and a little hero worship, made me pester him to borrow his camera, so much so that he bought me a camera of my own for my birthday, probably just to shut me up. The rest, as they say, is history. My love of photography started there and has never ceased.
I always wanted to be a professional photographer and I took a rather convoluted route to get there. I found deciding which branch of photography to pursue quite taxing until one day I was persuaded to shoot a couple of weddings for friends of friends. I can't tell you how surprised I was to find that I loved being a professional wedding photographer. When you love your job it never feels like work.
I'm rarely without a camera of some sort, in fact if you take a look at the photo, you'll spot a lens cap on the table next to me. Closer still is a glass of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, one of my favorites, in fact, this was my first ever glass of Single Barrel, experienced in The Occidental Hotel in Buffalo, Wyoming whilst touring the American Midwest, a holiday like no other and one I'll never forget. I only drink very occasionally but when I do, its probably this.
